Elevator Pitch 2

1)

2) The feedback I received on my last post is as follows: Great Elevator pitch, I liked the way you identified the opportunity right off the bat, it helped me understand what the problem was and what the solution was (your product). The length itself was good, not too long or too short and I was able to get a good understanding of your product. The headset was a little distracting but it helped with the audio and fit in with the theme of the product well enough.

I think that the feedback of my headset being distracting is good feedback but I tried 10 other ways to record this and I couldn't get the audio to work as well so I think that it is something that I will just have to deal with. I think that identifying the opportunity right off the bat is a strength and I tried to remake my elevator pitch so that I emphasized it even more.

3) Based on the feedback I received, I decided to keep my pitch very similar and since I knew that presenting the problem was the most important aspect I made sure to push the section where I talk about statistics to the front of the elevator pitch so it is the first thing that they hear.
Unfortunately, even though I wanted to re-record without the headset I couldn't get my audio to be clear with any other method so I ended up biting the bullet and keeping the headset. I tried to keep the length similar because the feedback I received was that the length was a good amount.

  1. Kelsey,
I think you did a great job with this elevator pitch and I like the facts you stated throughout it. I play video games myself and can respond to your pitch by saying I probably spend an average of $300 a year just on games alone. There is a few things you can work on with this pitch and that is moving around a little more or extending it further. If you moved around a little more it would be effective and could use props to help your pitch. You fell a little short on time and next time try to get closer to 90 seconds to maximize your pitch.

  3. Hi Kelsey, I think your pitch was very well done. You did a great job outlining the problem for the viewer and then offering a very reasonable and realistic solution. One suggestion I would have is to do something in the first 10-15 seconds to really grab the viewers attention and then get into the facts and numbers that you provided. Finally, I thought the catchy phrase you came left the audience with was fantastic and will keep you in the mind of your potential investors.
